10ft container rental
Small and lockable, for tight side yards, small lots and a single room of furniture. Supply varies by area, so we check first.
A 10ft container gives you about 70 square feet: a room of furniture, a secure tool locker, or a small shop's overflow. It fits where a 20 never could.
Ten footers are not a standard shipping size, so fewer suppliers rent them. We check what is available near you; if a 20 turns out cheaper or easier to get, we tell you.

Delivery and pickup space
Needs less run than a 20, but the truck itself still needs a straight approach. Tell us about your site and we will check. The same kind of truck collects it at the end, so keep that approach clear on pickup day too. How tilt-bed delivery works.

10ft rental questions
How much does it cost to rent a 10ft container?
It depends on your ZIP code, how far the nearest supplier with a rental unit is, and how long you need it. Your rental quote shows the monthly rate, delivery and pickup as separate lines before you agree to anything.
How big is a 10ft container?
Outside: 10' L x 8' W x 8'6" H. Inside: about 9'3" x 7'8" x 7'10". Door opening: about 7'8" W x 7'5" H. That is about 70 sq ft of floor and about 560 cu ft. Exact figures vary slightly by manufacturer.
How much room do I need for delivery and pickup?
Needs less run than a 20, but the truck itself still needs a straight approach. Tell us about your site and we will check. The same kind of truck collects it at the end, so keep the approach clear on pickup day too.
Is there a minimum rental period?
One month. After that it runs month to month with no long-term contract, and the last month is prorated by the day, so you stop paying on the day the container is picked up.
Do I pay a deposit?
No. You pay the first month and the delivery charge on delivery, or before it if you prefer. The pickup charge is billed at the end, at the amount in your quote.
Can I buy the container I am renting?
Yes. Your rental quote states a buyout price, and every month of rent you have paid counts toward it. Ask any time during the rental.
