Outside 20' L x 8' W x 8'6" H
20ft shipping containers for sale
The most popular size for homes, small farms and jobsites. Holds the contents of a one-car garage with room to walk in.
A 20 footer is the easy fit. It slides off a single-axle or tandem tilt-bed truck, fits on most driveways and side yards, and is short enough to place where a 40 never could.
Inside you get roughly 150 square feet of floor, enough for a riding mower, shelving down both walls and a couple of bikes, or pallets of feed and fencing supplies.

Pick a grade
Every size comes in three grades. The grade decides how it looks and how much life it has left; all three lock and keep the weather out.
- New / one-trip: Built new, shipped loaded once, then retired. As close to new as containers get.
- Cargo-worthy (used): Used, but structurally sound enough to be judged fit to carry cargo when it was inspected.
- Wind and watertight (used): The budget grade. Retired from shipping, cosmetically worn, but keeps wind and water out.
